What’s a Serving Team?
At Alexandria Free Methodist Church, Serving Teams are groups of people who have discovered their gifts and passions and are putting them into action to bless others. Whether it’s creating a warm welcome on the Hospitality Team, investing in the next generation on the Kids Ministry Team, leading in worship and media with the Creative Arts Team, or helping care for God’s creation by pruning tree limbs, laying mulch, and restoring native plants along our Prayer Trail—every team exists to make a difference for the Kingdom.
Who Can Serve?
There’s a place for everyone to get involved! Some roles may require a background check, age requirements, or additional training—but no matter your experience or season of life, we’ll help you find a team that fits. We even encourage you to try out a couple of different roles until you find where your gifts shine best.

Some people know right away how God has gifted them; others discover it through serving. If you’re not sure yet, that’s okay! Serving is a great way to explore your passions, try new things, and discover where God is calling you.
