Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."
Matthew 19:14
Our children’s ministry helps kids take their very first steps in faith through Bible teaching, worship, and hands-on activities. Every moment is designed to nurture young hearts toward Christ and form a foundation that will last a lifetime.
Join us this Summer on Fridays at 7pm for our Backyard Bible Club!
Rising 1st graders thru 5th graders, join us for free games, crafts, music and Bible stories for the brightest 5 weeks of the summer! We will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals while discovering that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world. Jesus is the light of the world!
Parents and Guardians are welcome to stay for Alexandria Free Methodist Church's Friday Night Lights, a Bible Study about the 12 disciples that meets at the same time as Backyard Bible Club.

Sunday Mornings

Children's Sunday School
9:30-10:30 am
Ages 3- 5th Grade
Children ages 3-5th grade are invited to join us Sunday mornings as we dig into God’s Word using Group’s “Two or More” Curriculum. Each lesson our Upper and Lower Elementary Classes will start all together discovering a story from the Bible and then they may break off into their separate classes or work together to explore that story further through crafts, experiments, Bible verse memorization, and other age specific activities.

Children's Worship
During the Worship Service
Ages 3- 2rd Grade
Developed from the book “Young Children and Worship” written by Sonja Stewart and Jerome Berryman, the Children’s Worship program is about teaching young children how to worship God so they can transition to worshipping with the whole congregation.
The Children’s Worship program provides a place and a means for the children to experience God in a developmentally appropriate way. Our goal is to create an environment that enables young children to encounter and worship God.
